Non-profit organization Hikayatna حكايتنا means “Our Story” in Arabic. The story of the Palestinian people has historically been silenced. Storytelling has served a central role in maintaining the Palestinian community, even as we are displaced around the globe. A depressed alcoholic woman comes home to an over whelming eeirness. She feels as though some one is watching her form outside of her house. But she is being haunted by an undiagnosed mental illness that is slowly taking her over. Filmed in 16mm. Edited with Final Cut Pro X.
